T’ai Chi Chuan is an ancient martial art based on the traditional Chinese philosophy of Taoism. Fundamentally it is a means of becoming in harmony with life and managing any conflicts in the most positive and constructive way.

Different teachers emphasise different aspects of T’ai Chi. In my Everyday T'ai Chi classes I like to focus on the aspects of this wonderful art that have the most relevance to our day-to-day lives.

This includes developing the right attitude and state of mind to avoid conflict, feel more energised, avoid stress and stressful situations, and to improve your mental and physical health.

Although it's a martial art, Everyday T'ai Chi is accessible and relevant to one and all, not only the fit and supple. All ages, shapes and sizes are welcome and can benefit.

Everyday T'ai Chi is for all abilities
Although we practise as a group, everyone progresses at their own pace. There is no best or highest, just encouragement for one and all to develop further.

Everyday T'ai Chi is for life
Many of the people who practise Everyday T'ai Chi go through the exercises on a daily basis, making it a permanent part of their daily routine and enjoying lives that are enhanced on many levels as a result.
